Base-X Poker

Pieces

• 1 Game Board (10X10) or (12×12)
• 144 Tiles showing numbers from 1 – 144
• 4 Holding Pieces

Setup

All tiles are placed face down. Ten tiles are selected at random and placed on the board covering where their number would be. Strobogramatic tiles are placed on lowest value. Anti’s are played. Starting with the dealer, each player draws a tile until every player has 3 tiles.

Betting

• Round 1: Starting with the player to the left of the dealer, each player bets if they think they will play more tiles than their opponent or they can fold.
• Round 2: Starting with the player to the left of the dealer, each player still in the game draws one tile. When everyone has four tiles, each player bets if they think they will play more tiles than their opponent or they can fold.
• Rounds 3, 4, 5: Repeat drawing and betting from round two. When all bets have been called everyone turns over their tiles. The dealer plays all playable tiles. The player with the fewest remaining tiles wins.

Ties

Player will the lowest sum of their tiles wins.
