Base-X Chicago Hold ’em
Pieces
- 1 Game Board (10X10) or (12×12)
- 144 Tiles showing numbers from 1 – 144
- 4 Holding Pieces
Setup
All tiles are placed face down. Five tiles are selected at random and placed on the board covering where their number would be. Anti’s are played. Starting with the dealer, each player draws a tile until every player has five tiles.
Betting
- Round 1: Dealer draws one tile from the pile and places it on the board. Starting with the player to the left of the dealer, each player bets if they think they will play more tiles than their opponent or they can fold.
- Round 2-5: Repeat drawing and placing a single tile then betting. When all bets have been called everyone turns over their tiles. The dealer plays all playable tiles. The player with the fewest remaining tiles wins.
Ties
Player will the lowest sum of their tiles wins.
