Object of the Game

To play all of your tiles before any of your opponents.

Setup

All tiles are placed face down. Based on the number of players tiles are selected at random and matched face up to their number on the board. Strobogramatic tiles are placed on lowest value. Then each player draws seven tiles for themselves.

  • 2 Players – 11 board tiles
  • 3 Players – 9 board tiles
  • 4 Players – 8 board tiles

Startup

The player with the lowest number goes first and then around the board clockwise.

Basic Play

If a player has a number that can go immediately above or below, to the right or the left, of a tile on the board they may play it. If they do not play a tile, then they must draw one tile from the face down tiles. If the tile they draw is playable, they can either play it immediately or keep it. Players can only play one tile a turn.

Game Play

  • If a player plays a prime number (2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97, 101, 103, 107, 109, 113, 127, 131, 137, 139) they must blind exchange one of their tiles for another tile from the face down tiles. They cannot play drawn tiles until their next turn. Face down tiles are shuffled after.
  • If a player plays (11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99, 111) they must switch one of their opponents’ tiles for one from their own set. They cannot play any exchanged tiles until their next turn.
  • If a player plays a corner number (1, 12, 133, 144) they must give one of their tiles to any opponent as they play the tile.
  • The following reversible numbers (6, 9, 16, 91, 18, 81, 19, 61, 66, 99, 68, 89, 86, 98) can be played either way but placement on the board locks its corresponding number to the alternative.

Winning

The first player to play all of their tiles by the end of their turn wins the game (or round).

Scoring (optional)

For playing longer games, each round add up the total tiles remaining in your hand. The player with the lowest total when the first player reaches 2000 wins.
